Nothing escapes this practice, from one’s personal belongings to the public objects used daily by many people, such as the shopping cart.
In the sales point of the Valtellina supermarket chain Iperal in Cassina de’ Pecchi (MB), the Hygienic cart sanitizer was installed.
Just 5 seconds and voilà! The cart is sterilized.
The device promises to kill 99% of bacteria present on the surface. Hygienic cart is the result of several prototypes perfected since 2013, the slogan that accompanies it “trust begins at the entrance” reinforces the goal of the company Hygienic Srl, which is to raise levels of reliability and efficiency, making the time of shopping quiet and zero risk, for an automatic sanitization of shopping carts from large retailers to small food stores.
From Prato instead comes Sanitizer 2020, the device created by the union of two Tuscan companies specialized in technologies for smart cities, the Prato-based company TTTecnosistemi and Safest World.
The project was like a lighting project that took place during the shopping spree of the Ceo of SafestWorld Emiliano Fiordi, an architect specialized in industrial design. Sanitizer is characterized by a sheet metal arch with two tanks at the base, for a total of 120 litres of sanitizing agent, connected to an electric pump driven by a turnstile: inside the arch there are nozzles from which the sanitizing agent is sprayed. The system can be used to sanitize a single trolley or a consecutive row. Riccardo Bruschi, CEO of TTTecnosistemi, explained that the production capacity will be 100 units per week.
During this period, a sneeze or a cough is enough and people distance themselves from other people with barred eyes. For this reason, being able to enjoy an object touched by countless hands every day is important.
A simple operation such as shopping must take place in complete hygienic safety, not only during this period of emergency but also in the future. Such devices can be useful not only for shopping trolleys but also to sanitize the trolleys used in airports for the transport of luggage or for stretchers in hospitals.
