Under the law that came into force on October 12, 2018, from July 1, 2019 will be mandatory to use an alarm device to prevent abandonment in own cars.
If your mind is already panicked about which device to install, we reassure you by saying that there will be no need for any upheaval.
Tata was born, an alarm device, designed by the Italian start-up Filo, which consists of a cushion to be placed on the car seat.
Tata has a sensor inside its lining that detects the child by electrical conductivity and not by weight, thus distinguishing it from other, such as a weight like a shopping bag.
In case the baby is left in the car, Tata, sends an alarm to the parent’s mobile phone, if it does not receive an answer within a minute, calls 5 preset emergency contacts, sending a text message with the location of the vehicle.
If the mobile phone is switched off or forgotten in the car, the anti abandonment device will send the same message.
Tata, also presented at Maker Faire 2018 in Rome, uses two AA batteries, to be replaced after about 1 year of use.
The idea is to make life-saving technology available to everyone, taking into account the costs, so that the car is always safer and giving relief to all parents.
