Can an antivirus suit be (also) fashionable? According to the designer Maria Agapkinathe answer is yes. While her city is still struggling with the Coronavirus emergency (today, the Big Apple has 225,045 confirmed cases), Maria designed and sewn Second Skin. It’s a special antivirus suit with integrated mask and gloves that “promises” to combine safety, convenience and fashion. Second Skin is made of polyamide and elastane, has long sleeves and a wide collar that can become a mask if necessary thanks to a series of zips. Available in various colours (white, black, yellow, blue, orange, lava and even animalier), the anti-virus suit can be worn over normal clothes and is sold at the basic price of 350 dollars.

Halfway between provocation and streetwear, the Second Skin anti-virus suit is produced by Monosuit, a brand founded in New York in 2013.
