First place at the World AI Cannes Festival for the Italian startup that, with its vision equipped with artificial intelligence, is preparing to launch on the international market
Innovative, technological, and with a unique approach: these are the characteristics that allowed AI4IV, an Italian company operating in the field of artificial intelligence, to win the podium at the second edition of the World AI Cannes Festival, the world’s most authoritative event dedicated to artificial intelligence, as the best Italian startup.
AI4IV’s product is an “artificial eye” that mimics, almost to perfection, the functioning of the brain-eye system proper to the human body. The Cannes award-winning project is carving out a growing share of the market in the field of smart vision sensor production and commercialization for applications based on artificial intelligence and augmented reality. From autonomous vehicles to robotics to more remote application fields such as video surveillance and agriculture, AI4IV’s prototype seems to be able to adapt to every need.
Confindustria Udine, an associate of the Italian startup, comments with satisfaction on the triumph: “The award received is a recognition of the many companies in our territory that, with awareness, are making themselves ready and prepared for the present and future challenges of artificial intelligence,” comments Anna Mareschi Danieli.
“I am proud of the recognition that rewards our efforts, we hope that this milestone will give us the opportunity to continue our journey with energy and enthusiasm,” says Giampietro Tecchiolli, one of the company’s founding partners.
“We at AI4IV are committed to making available products and services that can overcome, with innovative approach, the problems of implementing artificial eyes. Our intelligent vision unit is made of silicon with a computational architecture inspired by biological systems. Due to the minimal space required, our technology can provide smart vision sensors that return good quality images to the user in any environmental condition at the same cost as a standard camera chip.”
