Created by the Italian startup Deed, Get, this is the name of the new smartwatch 100% made in Italy, exploits the principle of bone conduction already known at the time of Beethoven. In addition to listening to music, you can answer phone calls or make a secure payment through fingerprint recognition.
It’s called Get, the last frontier of multitasking smartwatches. And also this time, the idea is of an Italian startup, namely Deed. Deed has collected about 700,000€ in the various crowfunding rounds on Kickstarter, has landed on the U.S. market, whose demand is double in terms of trendy gadgets, so smartwatch compared to the European market. Pre-orders for the new smartwatch amount to over 89,000 euros.
What Get Can Do
Almost without a physical display, to activate one of the functions of Get you need to bring your finger to your ear. In this way, functionality in the strict sense, minimal design and innovative technology are combined. In addition to activating music, Get can monitor sleep, activate a call, message or notification through a gentle vibration. The underlying technology is that adopted by Beethoven illo tempore.
Experimented in Milan already successfully for a “silent disc” with great success, the project Get has already received awards in the world.
