With 45.5 meters of vertical extension Deepspot is the deepest swimming pool in the world: it is located in Poland and will be used for research and diving exercises
A real abyss in the heart of Poland. In Mszczonow, near Warsaw in Poland, was inaugurated the deepest swimming pool in the world. The facility is called Deepspot and is truly a record-breaking structure: it has a vertical extension of over 45 meters and 8000 cubic meters of water were used to fill it. Even the costs for the construction are amazing. The company that built Deepspot invested 8.9 million euros and it took two years of work. The pool will be used mainly for diving exercises. Inside, in fact, have been placed replicas of sea caves and structures that will allow divers to practice to perform operations at high depths. All in total safety: “There are no fish or coral reefs, but it is a good place to train and learn to dive safely,” said diving instructor Przemyslaw Kacprzak.
