We are pleased to offer you a participation in the Special Edition of the 13th International Fair and Competition INTARG 2020 Online – Social Innovation.
This initiative was created in response to the needs of academic circles. The aim of the project is the international presentation and promotion of innovations aimed at solving various social problems, in order to transfer them to everyday social and economic life, as well as to establish cooperation between the world of science and the administration, non-governmental organizations and business.
Social innovations are new solutions (products, techniques, services, models, processes, activities, procedures, etc.), aimed at improving the quality of life of people, communities, nations and the development of new areas of cooperation, as well as better use of existing resources. This novelty may result from the introduction of unique solutions, but also from the implementation of an already known solution appearing in a new social context. These are innovations that benefit both society and business. The essence of creating social innovations is creative solving of social problems at the local, national and international level, for example: in and outside the workplace; resulting from climate and demographic changes; from the need to protect life and health; meeting human needs and safety in various life situations, including crisis and emergency situations; social responsibility, etc.
The keynote of the INTARG® Special Edition is the slogan “Social innovations in the service of the common good”. The fair is a forum for the presentation of pro-social innovations from many industries and areas such as:

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE, SOLVING SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN VARIOUS AREAS RESULTING FROM THREATS OF THE 21ST CENTURY
INTARG® is supported by prestigious national organizations, large number international institutions and numerous polish and international media agencies. Special Edition of the INTARG 2020 competition – Social Innovations in the online formula Participants have the opportunity to submit the presented innovative solutions for evaluation by an international jury. Criteria for evaluating social innovations by the jury in the Competition: innovation, socio-economic effects; advancement; demand for innovation; possibilities of implementation and commercialization in Poland and abroad; the level of intellectual property protection (Polish Patent Office, European patent, know-how); as well as style of the presentation. The jury will award the following prizes:
• The main prize “Pro Societas Bono” – for innovation of exceptional social importance
• Special Prize of the International Jury
• Diamond awards for innovations of special social importance
• Gold, silver and bronze medals
ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION
Application for participation in the INTARG® 2020 Fair and Competition Social Innovation:
– Sending a completed and signed application form by 10.10.2020 to the following address: intarg@haller.pl (in editable form and scan with signature).
– Online registration for participation in the Fair and Competition by October 15, 2020 (after receiving the access code to the Participant’s panel);
