Hoglet is the mouse that improves concentration

Hoglet’s creator, Parker Lynch, is the founder of the company HedgeHog Health and had the intuition of this mouse following the disorder he suffers from, stating that Hoglet improves the learning of children with attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity and autism.

How? Through physical stimulation, which is why the mouse looks aesthetically similar to a hedgehog covered with silicone tips. Soft and ergonomically designed, Hoglet is also useful for people who suffer from arthritis and neuromotor disorders and therefore have difficulty grasping normal mice.

This gadget can be a valuable help especially in this pandemic period, since many children can’t go to school or to autism centers, and in any case access to traditional therapy is severely limited. Parents must therefore be able to keep their children engaged in equally therapeutic activities at home.

Hoglet also consists of a central clickable trackball and left and right buttons, is powered by an AA battery included. It communicates with the computer via a USB wireless receiver included in the package. It supports MacOS, Windows and Chromebooks operating systems. Available in burgundy, light blue, lime, pink and orange, it costs 30 € and can be purchased (only by users living in Canada and the United States) here.
