The smartphone app tracks changes in your voice and warns you if there is a risk of a heart attack in progress
Prevention is better than cure. A motto that acquires even more value when compared to deadly clinical conditions such as a heart attack. The development of technology and artificial intelligence provides new means every day to help the monitoring and early diagnosis of various diseases and critical physical states. From today you can also keep an eye on your heart thanks to the Cordio HearO app.
Cordio HearO is an application developed by the Israeli start-up Cordio Medical and presented to the European Society of Cardiology. The app records the patient’s voice and looks for variations in breathing or tone caused by lung problems. The most common symptom of heart attacks is in fact the breathlessness caused by the accumulation of fluid in the lungs. The app has been tested on 40 patients and was able to recognize the clinical status with extreme accuracy.
The hope is that Cordio HearO can help prevent critical conditions even at a distance.
