Thought of as a virtual catalogue, Holotransfer is much more than that. Enriched with Virtual Reality, this system allows you to evaluate the product within your home furnishings. In this way, you will appreciate dimensions, design, configurations and combinations. Designed by startup Eggon, the project is in its embryonic phase.
Design innovation goes through Augmented Reality. On display at the next Smau Milano 2019 event, Holotrasnfer is a project by Eggon, an innovative startup from Padua. Then, traditional sectors such as interior design can benefit from creative innovations arising from Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
The Holotransfer project
Holotrasnfer is an Augmented Reality system applied to the furniture sector. Available for now only on the Apple Store, the nascent start up has opened a call to raise funds: minimum entrance fee 1,000 €.
By winning a call for proposals under the 2014-2020 POR FESR European funds, Eggon has already given life to a remarkable development plan. Therefore, the project aims to make available the possibility to view on smartphones and tablets furniture in 3D. In this way, the potential buyer can view the final configuration of an object directly in the existing domestic environments.
Therefore, the app should make it possible to animate objects on a scale of 1.1 in the most realistic perspective possible.
Hence, the final objective of the platform is of course the sale of any piece of furniture or furnishing accessory that the consumer has viewed and chosen from the app.
