A solution to the problem of baldness comes from China, more precisely from the well-known company Xiaomi.
This company launched a hat against baldness, a device developed by the partner company Cosbeauty, which said that hair would grow healthier and stronger in 12 weeks.
The hat is a helmet with 81 laser light beams that provide complete coverage of the scalp. It takes the name of LLLT Laser Cap and uses a methodology already seen but never for a do-it-yourself solution. The cap in fact stimulates the hair bulbs through the laser to regrow hair.
Human hair follicles are divided into a growth phase, a degenerative phase and a resting phase. The laser can precisely reach the roots of the hair follicles and activate them to bring them back into the healthy growth phase. What does it matter, the laser mainly acts on vital, unhealed hair bulbs.
Xiaomi has also thought about the design, the helmet is designed to disappear under a cap, the latter included in the package along with a lotion that nourishes the scalp, to be applied before treatment. The cap weighs 210 grams and can be comfortably charged with a USB cable.
According to a survey conducted by the China Health Commission, the number of people suffering from hair loss in China has exceeded 250 million. This is 1 in 6 people. This is why the invention of the hat.
The device will be on sale for just under $200 from next May.
As we have already said, the use of laser for the treatment of baldness is not new but the way it is proposed can provide a convenient solution.
The hat, although proposed by Xiaomi, is the result of the efforts of experts from several universities, (Shenzhen, Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Electronic Sciences and Technologies of China). It has also been certified by the CFDA (a non-profit trade association to which more than 450 U.S. designers are affiliated) and the FDA (the U.S. food and drug regulatory agency for food and pharmaceutical products).
