As an unexpected move, the U.S. Department of Defense has chosen to officially release three videos showing “Unidentified Flying Object” (UFO acronym). The videos have been published on official Pentagon channels and date back several years. They were recorded in 2004 and 2015 by infrared cameras installed on board U.S. Navy aircraft. The videos show what the American pilots saw during some night drills. The UFOs move quickly and cross the screen in all three black and white videos. Regarding the release of the UFO videos, US Defense spokeswoman Sue Gough said: “After careful consideration, the Department concluded that the release of these videos does not reveal any sensitive information. Internal sources indicate that the Pentagon will not investigate further what have been classified as “unidentified flying objects” (UFOs). In the first video, you can see an elongated-shaped object moving rapidly. After being detected by one of the aircraft’s onboard sensors, the mysterious object disappears on the left with a sudden acceleration. In the other two videos, you see two objects above the clouds. The pilot on board the aircraft that recorded the film wonders if the UFO is a drone: “there is a whole trail. It’s going into the wind! A 120 knot west wind!” says his flight companion. “Look at this thing!” continues his flight companion as the mysterious object begins to spin before it suddenly disappears.
